According to police in Phoenix, a deceased newborn was found in a bathroom trash can at the city’s Amazon distribution facility.

Police in Phoenix report that a deceased newborn was found in a women's bathroom trash can at the city's Amazon distribution facility, according to KTVK. KNXV notes that authorities responded to the call at roughly 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.  The baby is said to have been beyond resuscitation.  According to the Phoenix Police Department, the matter is under investigation.  Amazon said in a statement: "This is a terribly sad and tragic incident. We are working with local authorities to support their investigation. The safety and wellness of our team is our top priority."
