Police seized a lorry laden with almost 600kg of drugs in Taiping, Perak bound for the Penang harbour on Saturday (Jan 12). Three suspects have been arrested in connection with this case.

Another narcotics operation was conducted in Johor on the same day, where police arrested five suspects linked to a syndicate that smuggled drugs into prisons.
