We like to go down to the river to enjoy this fish at a mom and pop restaurant. It sits right on the river where they bring fish fresh out of the river to cook. After your meal you can go and lay on the shore of the river and relax. You can even take a dip. The water is very refreshing. Watch out for the current, its pretty strong. So don't swim to the middle unless you want to get swept away. Also another great place to meditate. You can see the beautiful greenish blue water carved through the rocky canyon reminiscent of the Colorado in the United States.

The restaurant also has a nice garden full of exotic fruits that you can pick from the trees before or after your meals. Its one of our favorite past times here in the mountains. Sundays are for sure fun days for us. So if you are in the area, please take a cab ride down to the river. It will cost you about 5 soles to get there from town. The meal it's self is 15 soles which is roughly 5 bucks. You can't beat that. I hope to see you on the road. Namaste!
