Florida residents with felony convictions are now registering to vote.
Voters in Florida passed Amendment 4 in November, giving 1.5 million citizens with felony convictions in the state the right to vote.
The law bars those convicted of murder and felony sex crimes.
Formerly convicted felons must complete the full terms of their prison sentence, probation, and parole, before registering to vote.
Florida election officials are now in the process of implementing the new amendment.
