The Kuala Lumpur Sessions court on Friday granted the prosecution’s application for a joint trial for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and former 1MDB group president and CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy over the alleged tampering of 1MDB’s audit report before it was submitted to the Public Accounts Committee.
