Rashida Tlaib, one of the first two Muslim women to ever serve in Congress, was sworn in wearing a traditional Palestinian thobe and using a Quran that once belonged to President Thomas Jefferson on Thursday. She officially became the first Palestinian-American woman to serve in the House of Representatives.
