ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಕ್ಕೆ ರೈಲು ಮಾರ್ಗ, ದೆಹಲಿ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ, ಬೊಗಿಬೀಲ್ ರೈಲುರಸ್ತೆ ಸೇತುವೆ ನಾನು (ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿ) 1997-98ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ಕೆಲವು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ 100 ಕೋಟಿ ರುಪಾಯಿ ಎತ್ತಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಶಂಕುಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಇಂದು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟರು" ಎಂದು ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಎಚ್.ಡಿ.ದೇವೇಗೌಡ ಬೇಸರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.


Former prime minister HD Deve Gowda has said he was disappointed as he was not invited for the inauguration of Bogibeel Bridge, the country’s longest railroad bridge, in Assam though he had laid the foundation stone for the multi-crore project. The 4.9-km long bridge at Bogibeel across the Brahmaputra, built at a cost of Rs 5,900 crore, was inaugurated PM.
