What should've been a relaxing Christmas golf trip to Thailand turned into tragedy on Tuesday,... as two elderly Koreans at a golf course drowned when their golf cart fell into the Nan River.
The men's cart plunged into the river when a second golf cart carrying their wives crashed into them on the club pier.
A caddie also hit and fell into the river, but a nearby fisherman managed to pull her to safety.
The fisherman says he was unable to reach the men.
The Bangkok Post reports that divers later retrieved the men's bodies.
