This is the terrifying moment an out-of control car rams into a busy shopfront in western India.

The incident took place in Surat, Gujarat state, on December 20.

CCTV cameras at the shop captured the car ramming into the crowded shop.

Police said three people, including a woman were injured in the accident and have been shifted to a hospital.

“The driver fled after the incident, we are looking for him,” said an official.
