BC Maha Darna at Indira Park on December 20 demanding the state government to withdraw the ordinance issued by it reducing the reservations to Backward Classes from its present 34% to 23% in the forthcoming Panchayath Elections. Joining the darna against the government reducing the BC reservation to 23 per cent from 34 per cent were Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao, BJP state president K. Laxman and Telugu Desam state president L. Ramana.
