South Korean stocks opened slightly lower this Friday.
As of 11:30 this morning, they were down 3 tenths of a percent from yesterday's close... putting them on course for a second straight loss.
This comes as U.S. stocks fell sharply again on Thursday... on the threat of a partial government shutdown plus concerns over the Federal Reserve raising rates.
President Trump told House Republicans he will not sign a government funding bill unless it includes more funding for border security.
The Dow dropped 464 points, or nearly two percent, and the S&P 500 slumped 1-point-six percent.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq also fell 1-point-six percent.
