According to a report by Geek.com, Netflix's decision to cancel Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage may have upset fans of the series this year, however, it is still possible that the popular shows could be revived by Disney in the future. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Disney's chairman of direct-to-consumer and international offers, Kevin Mayer, said that the cancelled shows could return on Disney plus, Disney's new streaming service, set to premier in 2019. Mayer told The Hollywood Reporter, “They are very high-quality shows. We haven’t yet discussed that, but I would say that’s a possibility.”
