The patient was diagnosed with transverse Myelitis in 2011,
he had sudden high fever due to viral infection and was taken to a hospital in Mysore where he received treatment. On the second day he felt foot drop and power loss in his lower limb. He was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. For this he took treatment in Bangalore.

According to neurology he needs aggressive treatment for up to 4 years from the start of the disease. If treatment is not given then it becomes a permanent deformity.
