Alicia grew up in an inland village, then went to live in Montevideo. One day she takes her boyfriend, Bruno, to her hometown for the first time. There they meet her two childhood friends, Tincho and Tola. The four spend that hot afternoon in the village's abandoned quarry. At first, all goes well - they lie in the sun, swim in the lake, barbecue, and fish. However, the tension grows as much as the oppressive heat. The place ensnares them and they can't leave. Their darkest and most primitive feelings emerge, and the lies between them are revealed.
