Good afternoon. It feels a bit more bearable today under mostly sunny skies with decent air quality, so let's take a closer look at today's highs.
Daily highs in many regions will be in the upper single digits... getting up to 7 degrees in Seoul, while Busan, Jeju and Gyeongju reach 10 and 12 degrees.
Today's highs might be bearable but get ready for some icy gusts with freezing air. Sub-zero air from the Arctic will start to spill across Korea this evening, so dress warm if you plan to head home later than usual... with an expected low of minus 9 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
It will turn colder across the entire country as we head towards the weekend. Saturday seems to be the coldest with lows dropping to minus 11 degrees and we will have to wait until next Tuesday to see readings rebound to seasonal averages.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
