Pampa Mukherjee started learning the nuances of Hindustani Classical Vocal music at the age of six under the tutelage of her mother Smt. Purabi Banerjee and then learned from Sanhita Mazumdar and Fazal Mahsi. In the year 2000 Pampa became a Gaandaabandh Shagrid of Padmabhusan Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan Sahib, and took taalim of Khayal, Thumri, Geet, Ghazal from him until Ustad ji's demise in 2016.
Subhomoy Bhattacharya initially took lessons in Indian Classical Vocal from Late Sangeetacharya Chinmoy Lahiri. Subhomoy became a Gaandaabandh Shagrid of Padmabhusan Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan Sahib, the Doyen of Gwalior Gharana. He took talim of Khayal, Thumri, Geet, Ghazal from him until Ustad ji's demise.
