Being a high-graded Artist of All India Radio, Kolkata & Television—Dr. Roy Manna has the Musical-Variety. Beside being a renowned vocalist, she is a Lyricist, Composer, Poet, Author and Examiner too.
Dr. Sujata achieved her Taalim in Dhrupad, Khayal , Thumri, Dadra, Ghazal, Bhajan & Other streams of Vocal-Music from the respected Gurus like Late Ajay Sinha Roy, Pt. Arun Bhaduri, Late Sukumar Mitra, Sri. Kumar Ray & Sri. Aloke Chattopadhyay. She came across with the eminent Maestros for short-time Taalim through her performances-Padmabibhushan Dr. Ali Akbar Khan, Bharat-Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi & Vidushi Girija Devi. Her musical career & the creative-works are well-encouraged by her husband Mr. Jagannath Manna, who gives her the true inspiration in Music. Moreover, she is warmly blessed by Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri
