The U.S. has reportedly agreed to not to impose more tariffs on China next year.
Chinese broadcaster CCTV reported Sunday that at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires... the leaders of the two countries agreed to continue their trade talks.
White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow reiterated this, saying the meeting went "very well."
But the two sides gave no indication of whether any breakthrough was imminent,... nor did they release any further details about their agreement.
Earlier this year, the U.S. imposed tariffs of 10 percent on 250 billion U.S. dollars worth of Chinese goods... and threatened to add more next year.
