Mike Pompeo on Wednesday weighed in on Jamal Khashoggi's murder.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday backed the White House's position on the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the level of involvement by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.   When presented a question on the matter, Pompeo replied: "I've read every piece of intelligence unless it's come in the last few hours. I think I've read it all. There is no direct reporting connecting the crown prince to the order to murder Jamal Khashoggi, and that's all I can say in an unclassified setting."  The CIA has reportedly determined otherwise, noting that the Saudi royal was directly involved in calling for the killing.  Notably, President Trump questioned that intelligence soon after it was reported, saying in a statement: "We may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
