Fire-ravaged Butte County saw rainy weather on Thanksgiving, drenching tents stationed at evacuation centers where victims of the fire are seeking shelter.

While the rain brings relief to the fire, which is now 90% contained, authorities warned it could prompt mudslides and debris flow, as well as slow down rescue efforts.

The death toll of the tragedy has increased to 83, with more than 500 still unaccounted for.
