CHENGDU, CHINA — With all the knockoffs in China, it hardly comes as a shock that they also have fake merry-go-rounds—unfortunately, they use real horses.

According to Ladbible, the amazing ride is located at the Shuangliu Wanda Plaza shopping center in Chengdu.
The pitiful looking ride consists of four horses strapped to metal frames as they are forced to walk around on a motor-driven platform.
Suckers need to shell out 50 RMB, or about 7 bucks, for a four-minute, fun filled—minus the fun—ride.

A sign posted next to the ride describes it as "different from traditional wooden horses, you can really experience the fun on horseback and let your child indulge. Let you and your child be brave."
The unlucky horses reportedly are forced to carry little brats for about four hours a day.
According to the Shangma Equestrian Club, which owns and runs the ride, the carousel is a good way for the horses to get exercise. No—it's not.
A manager also tried to tell the Beijing News that the ride isn't cruel to animals. Yes—it is.
