Aloo Paratha is a famous Punjabi recipe made by stuffing potato and spice mixture into a flatbread. This snack recipe tastes best when paired with spiced curd and pickle. Do try it at home and share your feedback in the comments below.
Ingredients:-
5 Potatoes, boiled
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tbsp Fennel seed powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
Asafoetida
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Red Chilli powder as per taste
1 tsp Amchur powder
Coriander leaves, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
Salt to taste
Ghee/Clarified butter
Method:-
Heat oil in a vessel, add ginger paste, garlic paste, saute it till the raw smell goes away.
Switch off the flame and start adding the dry masala's.
Add fennel seed powder, garam masala, asafoetida, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well.
Add masala, amchur powder, coriander leaves, onion on the boiled potatoes, salt, mix well and mash the potatoes as well.
Roll a ball of dough into a paratha and stuff it with the potato mixture and roll it once again.
Heat a pan, grease it with ghee, keep the gas on medium flame and fry the parathas.
Our Aloo Paratha is ready to serve.
