PM Modi pays tribute late Union Minister Ananth Kumar in Bengaluru

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the residence of late Union Minister Ananth Kumar in Bengaluru, to pay tribute on Monday. In a tweet on his official Twitter account, Prime Minister Modi expressed that, “We’ve lost an outstanding public servant, who had a positive impact on the lives of many. Also spent time with his family members.” Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar passed away on Monday morning in Bengaluru. The 59-year-old political leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had not been keeping well for the past few months owing to his cancer. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer and had been under treatment for some time, he even travelled to the United States for treatment. Several BJP and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders expressed sorrow over the sudden demise of Kumar and extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
