Theresa May MP delivered a speech at the London Lord Mayor's Banquet in Guildhall on Monday evening. Speaking the day after the centenary Armistice commemorations the Prime Minister highlighted the progress the UK had made over the last 100 years, "working together with our partners across the international community." Mrs May spoke of the impact of international unity and a collective response to common threats, particularly in response to Russia following the nerve agent attack in Salisbury. The Prime Minister said: "The United Kingdom has always understood that our prosperity depends on the global rules we uphold and the partnerships we build." Report by Jonesia.
