Last month, Seoul's Supreme Court ruled that a Japanese steelmaker has to compensate four Koreans forced to work for it without pay during World War Two.
Today, attorneys for the victims went to the Tokyo headquarters of Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation to discuss how it will pay the victims... but they weren't allowed in.
The team, along with some South Korean and Japanese activists, brought a request for the company to pay immediately, but they were unable to talk to any of its employees.
Security blocked them from going up to the offices.
They waited for about half an hour, but eventually had to leave.
Since the firm refused to discuss the matter, the attorneys said they will go ahead and seek the confiscation of its property in South Korea as planned.
