Another historic step in the movement for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
According to a government source,… the two Koreas have completely withdrawn troops and firearms from dozens of the guard posts on their border.
Work to remove them began at the start of the month... and was part of the commitments made by President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at their summit in Pyeongyang.
The two sides will demolish those guard posts by the end of the month -- all except for one each.
After that, they will discuss removing all their guard posts, of which there are more than 200.
