The New York Post reports James Comey discussed sensitive FBI matters on private email.

Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly used private email to discuss sensitive government matters.
The New York Post reports, citing documents obtained through a conservative group's Freedom of Information Act request, "Comey and his chief of staff discussed government business on about 1,200 pages of messages."
And, the Post says, at least seven emails were said to have been withheld by the Justice Department because they would "disclose techniques and procedures for law enforcement investigations or prosecutions."
Included in the released messages is at least one where Comey seemed to be self-aware that he was using his Gmail account for official business, particularly given the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton's email use.
The former FBI director has previously downplayed his own personal email use to discuss sensitive matters.
"Comey has said that he did not use the personal email for sensitive or classified information, asserting that his use of it was 'incidental,'" reports The Hill.
He was fired by President Trump in May of last year and has since become an outspoken critic of the Trump administration.
"The United States should be a shining light for the world, modeling a democracy that values truth, respects free press, protects human rights, and stands against murderers, oppression, and bigotry.  Trump and the Republican Party are dimming that light," Comey wrote in a tweet last month.
