Residents of Malibu have been ordered to evacuate as three separate wildfires burned in California on Friday, forcing 175,000 people from their homes across the state.

This clip shows the so-called Woosely Fire early on Friday morning as it jumped the US 101 freeway and then swept into the Santa Monica mountains.

Malibu has about 13,000 residents and lies at the southern foot of the mountain range.
