According to Reuters, the Democratic Party picked up a net of 32 seats in the US House of Representatives during the 2018 Midterm elections.
Democrats needed to pick up at least 23 seats in the House to control the chamber with a majority membership.
But they could win a few more seats, because seven races are still undecided.
The latest tally of House seats that flipped from Republican to Democrat is holding at 35 congressional districts.
Pennsylvania had the most districts flip parties, with six seats changing partisan hands; but one of those districts flipped from Democrat to Republican.
