Much of the southwest of England is on flood alert with high tide and strong winds hitting this week.

Footage shows strong winds in Penzance, in Cornwall, pushing tides over the seafront onto the main road.

A yellow weather warning (meaning severe rain) will remain in place ahead of gales on Friday as well as rail travel disruption.
