Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge Saturday moved the Supreme Court against the Center's decision of sending CBI director Alok Verma on leave, saying it was "illegal" and was in violation of the CBI Act.

ಸಿಬಿಐ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ರಜೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳಿಸಿದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಡೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಮರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
