RAWALPINDI: Chief of his own faction of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-S) Maulana Sami ul Haq was assassinated at his residence in Rawalpindi on Friday.

Speaking to ARY News, the deceased’s son Hamid ul Haq said his father was stabbed to death at his Rawalpindi residence. He said his father was unwell and taking rest at home when he came under the attack.
