This was the scene in Mountain Province, Philippines yesterday evening when a landslide hit - trapping up to 30 more in a government building. The torrent hit at the height of Typhoon Yutu which battered the northern part of the country yesterday. The landslide happened at around 4pm on Tuesday afternoon in the village of Banawel in the Natonin district. Huge amounts of water and mud swamped the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) which was being used as evacuation center for local residents.
