President Trump is reportedly weighing an executive action to block migrants, including asylum seekers, at the US-Mexico border.

The Trump administration is weighing taking dramatic steps as a large migrant caravan heads to the US-Mexico border.
The New York Times reports: "President Trump is considering taking executive action to bar migrants, including asylum seekers, from entering the country at the southern border, according to people familiar with the plan."
"The proposal amounts to a sweeping use of presidential power to fortify the border and impose the kind of aggressive immigration restrictions and enforcement measures that Mr. Trump has made his signature pursuit," the Times adds.
According to NBC News, "The exact details have not yet been finalized, the sources said, and some of the more extreme ideas are a source of internal debate within the administration."
In a tweet on Thursday, Trump announced his intention to bring "out the military" for the migrant caravan.  "Brandon Judd of the National Border Patrol Council is right when he says on @foxandfriends that the Democrat inspired laws make it tough for us to stop people at the Border," he wrote. "MUST BE CHANDED [sic], but I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency. They will be stopped!" Just days prior, he wrote in another tweet: "Every time you see a Caravan, or people illegally coming, or attempting to come, into our Country illegally, think of and blame the Democrats for not giving us the votes to change our pathetic Immigration Laws! Remember the Midterms! So unfair to those who come in legally."
