South Korea's economy grew at a slower pace than expected during the July to September period amid shrinking investment.
The central bank says the economy expanded zero-point-six percent on-quarter in the third quarter,... same as second quarter growth and contracting from one percent expansion in the first.
Compared to the same period last year, third quarter growth expanded by two percent, slower than previous quarter's two-point-eight percent.
Consumption and exports led growth, but investment in business facilities and construction fell by four-point-seven percent on-year and six-point-four percent on-quarter, respectively...driving down overall GDP growth.
