करवा चौथ व्रत 2018 में 27 अक्टूबर 2018 के दिन मनाया जाएगा। करवा चौथ के व्रत का महत्व हमेशा से ही सुहागिन स्त्रियों के लिए बहुत अधिक रहा है। करवा चौथ के व्रत में वैसे तो चौथ माता यानी माता पार्वती का पूजन किया जाता है। लेकिन करवा चौथ के इस निर्जल व्रत को खोलने के लिए चन्द्रमा का महत्व बहुत अधिक है। इस व्रत में ऐसा हो ही नहीं सकता कि कोई स्त्री बिना चन्द्रमा को अर्घ्य दिए करवा चौथ का व्रत पूरा करें। चन्द्रमा के दर्शन और अर्घ्य के बिना इस व्रत को सफल नहीं माना जाता है।
