Some of Stephen Hawking’s possessions are going up for auction.
HuffPost reports the online sale by auctioneer Christie’s features 22 items from Hawking’s.
Items include his doctoral thesis on the origins of the universe, some awards, and scientific papers such as “Spectrum of Wormholes.”
Hawking was diagnosed with ALS at age 22, and the disease eventually left him almost completely paralyzed.
He communicated through a voice-generating computer and moved in a series of high-tech wheelchairs.
