The Jimny has been loved by customers around the world since the birth of its first model in 1970. The new Jimny carries on the heritage of a small, lightweight authentic off-roader and is a masterpiece of Suzuki 4 Wheel Drive technology. They’re not confirmed yet, but expect a four-pot – probably the one from the Ignis which is good for 88bhp and 89lb-ft - as well as an entry-level turbocharged 1.0-litre Boosterjet three-cylinder. But it’ll be light. And there’ll be part-time 4wd with a low-range transfer box to plod through pretty much anything you can throw at it.
