It's been three weeks since former actress Tanushree Dutta rekindled her accusations of harassment against actor Nana Patekar on a film set in 2008. Since then, women across entertainment have been coming forth with accounts of harassment by their male bosses and colleagues. In this roundtable, we bring together actresses Swara Bhasker and Parvathy and filmmaker Meghna Gulzar to talk about the #MeToo movement finally making its way to Indian cinema, and the steps that should be taken to make a success of it. Malayalam actress Parvathy has been instrumental in forming the women's collective in Kerala last year. Meghna Gulzar along with other female directors of Bollywood have pledged to never work with proven offenders again. And Swara Bhasker says she and fellow actresses are working towards putting up a united front against harassment at the workplace. Here the three women tell us about how they see the future of #MeToo in films.
