Juan Thornhill hauled in 2 of the Hoos' 3 interceptions on the night. UVA running back Jordan Ellis rushed for a team-high 86 yards and a touchdown in the win. Trajan Bandy picked off 2 passes for Miami in the loss. Malik Rosier replaced N'Kosi Perry late in the 2nd quarter and played the rest of the game, rushing for his 12th career touchdown.
