There are types of health insurance plans. One is called Individual health insurance and other one is Family health insurance (Also called as family floater health insurance).
Lets take Example of family floater plan of family having 2 adults + 2 child family i.e. husband & wife and their 2 children. If they have coverage of Rs. 5 Lac then they can use the sum insurance amount as 1 lac/ per person or they can use total 5 lac amount for a single person as per need.
