Jonathan Bamba scored twice against his former club as LOSC Lille defeated AS Saint-Étienne 3-1 on Saturday to claim second place in Ligue 1 Conforama after matchweek number 9. Bamba did not celebrate any of his goals, but what he owes in terms of his development to Saint-Etienne he is now repaying in spades to Lille. His understanding with Nicolas Pépé is likely to provide a lot more fireworks this season.
