An appalling case of an acid attack takes place in Ambala city, Haryana where 2 unidentified bike-borne miscreants threw acid on a 31-yr-old woman she was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by her neighbours. The woman has received almost 60% burn injuries. Survivor's right eye, face & abdomen have been damaged due to highly corrosive acid. The girl's health condition is serious and the doctors have now referred her to postgraduate institute of medical education and research, Chandigarh.
