President Trump on Thursday posted another tweet about Brett Kavanaugh.

President Trump on Thursday commented on the pending confirmation or rejection of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.  "This is a very important time in our country. Due Process, Fairness and Common Sense are now on trial!" he said via Twitter. Earlier, he tweeted: "The harsh and unfair treatment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh is having an incredible upward impact on voters. The PEOPLE get it far better than the politicians. Most importantly, this great life cannot be ruined by mean & despicable Democrats and totally uncorroborated allegations!"  According to the Washington Post, the White House's continued support of the nominee signals that, in regard to the recent FBI investigation, "nothing sufficient [had been found] to corroborate allegations of sexual misconduct while he was a teenager." The Senate is now in the process of reviewing the FBI report.  NPR notes that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has scheduled the next vote on Kavanaugh's nomination for Friday.
