Robin Williams' Personal Art Collection
and Memorabilia to Be Auctioned The collection, belonging to
the late actor and his ex-wife,
Marsha Garces, are scheduled to be
auctioned later this week in New York City. The items, which are being displayed
ahead of the auction at Sotheby's New York,
include wristwatches, film and sports memorabilia and artworks. The exhibit is called "Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams." Williams' collection of 20 bronzes by sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz and a Bansky painting are expected to bring in about $400,000 to $600,000 each. Of the 40 wristwatches to be auctioned, one of them was worn by Williams during the filming of 'Dead Poets Society.' The late actor's Golden Globe awards will also
go to auction. Proceeds from the sale
will go to various charities.
