Police are hunting a brazen gang who were caught on camera stealing a large safe from a family home in a daring daylight raid.

The thieves broke into the house and stole the safe, which contained valuable Asian gold, moments before the shocked owners returned home. The three masked crooks were caught on a mobile phone desperately trying to lift the heavy safe into a waiting getaway car.
