Demonstrators protesting the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court on October 1 rallied outside Boston City Hall where Senator Jeff Flake was due to speak at a Forbes Under 30 event.

Flake had called for an FBI investigation into sexual assault allegations made against Kavanaugh.

Protesters carried various placards and chanted anti-Kavanaugh slogans. Attendees at the rally included Mayor of Boston Marty Walsh, Democratic house candidate for the Bronx and Queens Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Ed Markey, and Democratic Nominee for Governor of Massachusetts Jay Gonzalez.
