Looking further at the UN General Assembly this week, world leaders have been voicing their concerns about the scourge of drug abuse around the globe.
That includes President Moon Jae-in, who took part at an event on Monday titled Global Call to Action on the World Drug Problem,… which was hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Thirty-one world leaders, including President Moon, reiterated their commitment to effectively handle the drug problem gripping many parts of the world.
South Korea's presidential office says the meeting was part of global efforts to step up the application of international drug control conventions.
