Fire crews continued to battle the fast-moving Charlie Fire near Castaic, northwest of Los Angeles, on Monday, September 22.
According to local media, the blaze broke out at 2:40 pm on Saturday, spreading quickly and prompting evacuations in the area. Roads in the vicinity were also shut.
This video, filmed at Castaic Lake on Sunday afternoon, shows a Super Scooper aircrafts working on the fire.
Latest figures showed the fire at 3,400 acres with 30% containment. Two people have been injured and sent to hospital, with at least one of them being firefighters on the scene of the blaze.
