Tens of thousands of potential visitors were disappointed on September 19 when Storm Ali led to the cancellation of Ireland’s National Ploughing Championships, the “largest outdoor event in Europe,” according to organizers.
Footage shows the damage caused to tents and pavilions at the championships, being held this year in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
